Help CASA Support New African International Students During O-Week!

The Curtin African Students Association (CASA) is committed to creating a supportive

and vibrant community for African students at Curtin University. As part of our efforts, we

are launching an initiative to provide food hampers to newly arrived African international

students during O-Week to help them settle in and navigate their first few weeks in Perth.

How You Can Help

We are seeking donations of:

• 5-10 food hampers filled with essential groceries and non-perishable items

• $50 contributions to help purchase and assemble these hampers

Your generosity will go a long way in easing the transition for these students, ensuring they

feel welcomed and supported by the African community in Perth.

Why This Matters

Moving to a new country can be overwhelming, and the first few weeks are often the

hardest. These food hampers will provide students with essential supplies, allowing them

to focus on settling in, making connections, and adjusting to university life without

immediate financial stress.
